The Sunshine Coast Film Society invites the community to pack up beach blankets and lawn chairs and head to Winegarden Waterfront Park in Gibsons Landing to enjoy an evening of movies after dark screened in the great outdoors. (You may want to bring a jacket and a flashlight).

This is a free community event, though donations will be collected and are greatly appreciated ($5 suggested). Door prizes (or should we say "lawn" prizes) will be offered! There will be popcorn for sale too.

The film program for all ages includes three episodes of The Beachcombers:  

• Fireman's Ball: Constable John’s Hosers challenge the
  Gibsons Fire Brigade to water soccer. With footage of the real 1985 Sea Cavalcade
• Mystery of Blubber Bay
• Second Growth. 

NFB animated shorts complete the evening.
