Filmmaker Florence Strauss sets off in search of the roots of Arab classical
music. Her journey takes her from Paris to Cairo, Aleppo, Damascus, Beirut and
Tel Aviv. Along the way she discovers the remarkable story of her own Middle
Eastern heritage.
Featuring many of the finest musicians of the Arab world, this
is a celebration of the power to music to transcend time, language and cultural
differences.
