Memberships
Membership is required. As a registered non-profit society, the SCFS screens
films which in many cases have not been reviewed by the B.C. Film Classification
Board. Under B.C. law any person wishing to see these unclassified films must
belong to the SCFS and be 18 years of age or older.
We sell Single Event Memberships for each film night
($3) at the door, or Annual Memberships ($15). You can also buy a Friend
of the Film Society membership plus tickets package.
Join the SCFS using the downloadable membership
form [pdf 1p], online using the "Buy Now" button on this
page, or in person at any film night.

Show Times
• MONDAYS at 7:30pm, doors at 7pm, at the Gibsons Heritage Playhouse (unless otherwise noted).
Reserved tickets are
held until 7:15. To enhance the filmgoing experience, we regret that there
is no admittance to the theatre after 7:30pm.
Disabled Access
The Film Society gives priority for front row seating to people in wheelchairs,
or those who have difficulty with stairs. You can contact us in advance,
or simply talk to the ushers when you arrive at the theatre. The handicap
parking spots at the Heritage Theatre are on the North Road side of the building,
and there is a ramp up to the front doors. While the theatre has been retrofitted
for wheelchair accessibility, it's an old building and clearances are tight
in the hallways and washrooms.
