SCFS announces the Canadian Heritage Film Festival

The SCFS is pleased to announce the Canadian Heritage Film Festival. This
mini-festival of Canadian feature films will take place over the Heritage
Day weekend February 18 to 21, 2005 (in our own Heritage Playhouse, of course!).
The festival will include screenings of over 10 feature films (supported
by documentaries and many classic NFB shorts), a gala evening, keynote speakers,
a discussion panel and more.
Do you have old ‘home movies’ or historical footage of the area? We want
to hear from you! We are planning to bring in a professional film archivist
to assess, value and give tips on how to preserve these treasurers – our
version of an “Antiques FILM Roadshow.”
